context

Since 2020, a pilot project in Burkina Faso has transformed pediatric surgery: local teams have been trained, a dedicated children’s hospital built, and free care guaranteed for children under 5. Now, this success story is becoming a replicable model. Several African countries are eager to adopt it.

Project

The turnkey program offers a simple, sustainable, and effective roadmap for establishing pediatric surgical services. It empowers local health professionals and strengthens national health systems. Most importantly, it saves children’s lives—safely, locally, and with lasting impact. A concrete, human-centered solution for a healthier future.
