Context
In today’s digital age, hyperconnectivity affects many people, sometimes with serious consequences for mental health, sleep, and social and family relationships. Disorders related to excessive use of the Internet or online games can isolate, weaken and even break life paths. Yet, there are concrete ways to support these patients and their families, through health education, guidance and adapted tools. The ReConnectES project is based on this observation: it is time to give individuals the means to regain control over their digital use and to support their families along the way.
Project
The 'ReConnectES' project aims to develop and test an innovative health education program focused on balanced digital use. It includes modules for patients suffering from Internet use disorders and for their families, in order to strengthen their understanding, skills and resilience. The approach combines practical workshops, connected tools and therapeutic support. Through this project, the goal is not only to prevent relapses but also to improve the quality of life and social connections of those concerned.
